Turkey marches to the EuroBasket 2017 with great ambition to at least step on the podium, also because the tournament will be held in Istanbul. But it’s currently uncertain if their efforts will be boosted by the presence of Ersan Ilyasova. As American journalist KL Chouinard reported, the Turkish power forward said that he’s “unsure” of joining his country’s national team in the Eurobasket considering his status as a free agent and the pursue of his next contract.
