Francis Alonso (UNC Greensboro), Junior
Yankuba Sima (Oklahoma State), Junior
Jon Ander Cuadra (Campbell), Junior
Ramón Vila (Arizona State), Sophomore
Jaume Sorolla (Valparaiso), Sophomore
Andrew Ramírez (Hartford), Junior
Eric Vila (Fresno State), Redshirt
Joshua Tomaic (Maryland), Freshman
Javier Langarica (George Washington), Freshman
Joan Ferrán Bernacer (Austin Peay St), Freshman
Acoydan McCarthy (Austin Peay St), Freshman
Manny Suárez (Creighton), Senior

Este último, criado en América, llega desde la D2, aunque estuvo en Fordham. Con padre español y madre chilena, es elegible para jugar con España, si bien no parece una opción real.

Five-star point guard Jahvon Quinerly said Saturday that his family has hired a lawyer, but he has not been contacted yet by federal authorities in connection with the FBI investigation into college basketball last month.

Quinerly was not explicitly named in the FBI documents, but he is committed to Arizona and was recruited by Arizona assistant Emanuel "Book" Richardson, who was one of four assistants (from various schools) arrested. The documents allege a $15,000 bribe from Richardson to Player-5, who "verbally committed to attending" Arizona "on or about August 9, 2017." Quinerly committed to Arizona on Aug. 8.

When asked on Saturday whether he accepted money, Quinerly responded: "I have no comment."

His lawyer didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Quinerly said his family hired Alan Milstein, who represented Maurice Clarett in 2004 in his fight against the NFL's age minimum.

Quinerly remains committed to Arizona.

"For now, I'm committed," he said.

Quinerly said he has not spoken to Richardson since the FBI news first broke, but did speak with Arizona coach Sean Miller.

"He was upset as well," Quinerly said. "We had a brief conversation, and it was about just me becoming the best player I can be for this high school season and being ready for the next level."

Quinerly, a 6-foot-1 point guard from Hudson Catholic High School (New Jersey), is ranked No. 23 in the ESPN 100 for 2018.

ESPN 100 prospect Jules Bernard committed to UCLA on Tuesday.

"I am excited and honored to announce I have committed to continue my education and growth as a basketball player in my hometown at UCLA," Bernard said in a statement released on Twitter by his AAU program.

Bernard, a 6-foot-6 small forward from Windward School (California), chose the Bruins after taking an official visit to the school this past weekend. He had a final five that also included Kansas, USC, Oregon and Miami, but he ended up canceling visits to the latter two schools the past two weeks.

Bernard is UCLA's second ESPN 100 commitment in 2018, joining No. 66 four-star shooting guard David Singleton III.

The No. 47 player in the 2018 ESPN 100, Bernard will bring offensive punch to UCLA next season. He averaged 14.6 points and 5.8 rebounds on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit with the Compton Magic this past spring and summer.

Bernard is the latest in the Compton Magic-to-UCLA pipeline. Recent NBA draft picks T.J. Leaf and Ike Anigbogu both played in the Magic AAU program, as did incoming freshmen Jaylen Hands and Jalen Hill.

A alguno de los clásicos le apetece compartir ESPN Player? Este año me está dando un poco pereza los 100 pavos del año pasado; y antes lo compartía con otro forero que ya tiene otras vías. Si alguno tal, comentamos por privado.

Top basketball prospect Emmitt Williams was arrested early Wednesday morning in Florida on sexual battery and false imprisonment charges, according to Orange County Jail records.

Williams, a power forward ranked No. 20 in the 2018 ESPN 100, was being held on $3,500 bond.

He recently transferred from IMG Academy to Oak Ridge High in Orlando. The top-rated prospect in the state has a long list of offers, including from Florida, Louisville and Kansas.

Williams, 19, already had visited Oregon and LSU and was expected to visit Florida this weekend.

Oak Ridge basketball coach Steve Reece described Williams as a "great person" and a "hard worker in the classroom" to the Orlando Sentinel in August.

"He's dominant. A man-child," Williams told the paper. "And he's a great person. 'Yes, sir. No, ma'am,' no matter what."

Filip Petrusev, a 6-11 big man from Serbia who is considered one of the top young prospects in European basketball, has committed to play for Gonzaga, he told ESPN on Sunday.

"They are a big-time basketball school with great tradition, especially with international big men," Petrusev told ESPN. "They develop players very well and make the NCAA tournament every year."

Petrusev picked Gonzaga over scholarship offers from a number of Power 5 programs, including Kansas, Virginia, Utah, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Arizona, Creighton, Illinois, Indiana, Stanford and Texas Tech.
