The Golden State Warriors have confirmed the deal struck earlier this week with free agent Marreese Speights.
Speights averaged 10.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in the final 39 games with Cleveland after coming over in a trade from Memphis last season.
Speights' deal is for three years and about $11 million. The third year is a team option.
The 25-year-old Speights was drafted 16th overall out of Florida by Philadelphia in 2008. He has averaged 7.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in his first five NBA seasons.
The Dallas Mavericks have struck a three-year deal worth at least $25 million with free-agent guard Monta Ellis, according to sources close to the process.

The move comes on a whirlwind day for the Mavericks.
A three-year deal worth in excess of $9 million for former Mavericks guard Devin Harris fell apart after X-rays unexpectedly revealed that the veteran has a dislocated toe on his left foot, according to sources close to the situation.
The money no longer committed to Harris, sources said, has been earmarked for a starting center, with free agent center Samuel Dalembert clearly ranking as Dallas' No. 1 target.
Ellis averaged 19.2 points and 6.0 assists for Milwaukee last season. He rejected a contract extension from the Bucks that would have enabled him to make $36 million over the next three years.
Frustrated with talks in free agency, Ellis parted ways with his longtime agent, Jeff Fried, on Wednesday.
