Frank Ntilikina is the first Knicks rookie to tally at least 10 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 blocks in the same game since 1964

I think Frank is one of the more overlooked rookies on a national scale. If you only look at his counting statistics, you'd think he's just whatever. But he has a chance to be really elite on defense a lot sooner than normal at a position where very few guys are elite.

Michael Beasley after Frank Ntilikina's 10-point, 10-assist, 7-reboud performance against Brooklyn:
Frank's an amazing player. He has to learn what pace he wants to go. But as soon as he figures it out, Frank will be an easy triple double guy. Easy triple double."
Ntilikina said that he wanted to be more assertive today after having a few lackluster games recently.
"It's time," the rookie said. "I know it's about time especially I have to go out there and be confident and be aggressive. I won't relax now. I'm just motivated to do more in the future." The Knicks will need more from Ntilikina and guard Trey Burke during a grueling 6-game road trip, which may define their season.

One thing about this game that I liked and hope to see again was that Jeff Hornacke went SMALL and it REALLY opened up the paint. With Porzingis or just O´Quinn as the C and Beasley at PF this team was able to really run spread Pick and Roll to perfection.
“I don’t know,” Enes Kanter said with a smile, “if it counts as a road game.”
“It’s almost like playing at home,” Kristaps Porzingis. The winners basically gave themselves quite a send-off for six more games much farther away from Madison Square Garden, earning a chant of “Let’s Go Knicks” from many in the Barclays Center sellout crowd of 17,732 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. “Obviously, the court is different, but the fans, they’re pretty amazing. It feels like we’re playing at home. It was a good atmosphere today,”
