On Mudiay; credit Perry/Mills 4 the transition. Perry told me after trade, they told Mud they wouldnt judge his game 4 rest of season, but expected him 2 come back in best shape ever for 18-19. Smart; took pressure off 2 perform immediately while still holding him accountable.

Knicks have a 31.5% chance of landing one of Zion, Barrett, or Reddish
That has to be MUCH higher than their odds of landing KD

I only see Orlando being the team to throw money at Mudiay. In a way, it was a very calculated trade by Perry. If we do keep him, it should be at a cost-controlled contract.

A few New York reporters spoke to Tyson Chandler before Lakers-Nets and he is bullish on the Knicks' chances to land a free agent this summer.
Former Knick Tyson Chandler was asked on Tuesday for his thoughts on the Knicks: “It's hard to judge because their best player is out in (Kristaps) Porzingis but I like the direction they're going in. I like (head coach David) Fizdale. I like what he's doing and I honestly think it's a matter of time. I also think they have a chance to land a big-time free agent to pair with Porzingis and after that I think it can happen real quick.”
Tyson Chandler, probably the last top free agent to sign with the Knicks, was asking what he thought the Knicks have done to put themselves in position to land a top player this summer. “I think you've got a good coach with a good personality (and) demeanor and then you've got a superstar player in Porzingis who I think a lot of players would love to play with. Before he got hurt, especially at the beginning of the season, he was having an MVP-type season. And again I think you've really got to go after one of those free agents and if you land it, again, it could just be a matter of time.”
The ex-Knick believes the perception of the team has changed. “For sure. Definitely changed. You have some good guys over there. And that always helps. Knicks went through a tough time. The Phil Jackson era was a tough time. Before that was a tough time. And when me, Amar'e and Melo was there it was a fun time. They just got to get back. It takes one little piece to switch things up.” He believes ownership factors in to free agents' decisions and doesn't see Knicks owner James Dolan negatively impacting free agency. “Dolan doesn't have any problem spending money to help his organization and help his players get in good situations.”
